Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rates.
CDW reduces liability to an amount between 5,000.00 FID and 10,000.00 FID depending on car group rented in the event of an accident, fire, or vandalism to the Avis vehicle. Renter is responsible for all damages in the following situations: Underbody damage, Damage from being driven on unmade roads, Negligence or beach of the rental agreement terms and conditions or laws of Fiji.
Theft Protection (TP) is not available
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Avis Fiji Islands accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners Club, Jalcard (Japan Airlines) / Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), Mastercard, Visa. In addition to the estimated rental charges, customers will also need to pay the following bond - Groups B, C, G, and S: 500.00 FID, Groups H, K, L, P, W, Z: 1000.00 FID.
Debit cards are not accepted.
At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid driver's license in the driver's name from their country of residence. Customers presenting a driver's license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license.
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
