Requirements for Long-Term Car Rental
Our long-term car rentals are only available for rentals with a minimum length of 15 days and a maximum of 330 days. Other than that, you’ll need to meet the same basic rental requirements as our general rentals, including:
Age Requirements: You must be at least 21 to rent with Avis in most U.S. states and Canadian provinces and at least 25 to avoid the underage surcharge fee.
Non-Smoking Policy: Avis does not permit smoking in our vehicles, and a fine is issued for non-smoking policy violations.
Payment Options Policies: Use your credit or debit card for long-term car rentals at most Avis locations. You must be at least 25 to use debit cards (18 in New York) with a Visa or MasterCard logo.
