Can I pay by cash?

Debit cards are only accepted: Mastercard debit cards, Visa debit cards including Visa Electron cards.
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Driver's normal working hours are 9:00AM-6:00PM.
The driver works 8 hours day. Any additional hours are chargeable at CNY 65/hour.

All International customers must take Chauffeur Drive.
Therefore there is no age requirement. However bookings that involve children (under the age of 18) a parent or guardian must be present.
To meet your driver please proceed to the clearly defined collection point, where the driver will be holding a sign with your name printed. If for any reason you cannot find this point or your driver please call +86 400 001 3600 or email support@avis.cn.
Returning: Once the driver has delivered you to your final destination the driver will return the vehicle to the rental station
CHAUFFEUR DRIVE ONLY. RATES INCLUDE DRIVER (the driver is available for 9 hours (with 1 hour for lunch). Approximate total includes base rate, taxes, and surcharges. Items such as additional hours for the driver, coupon discounts, child safety seats and gas are NOT included in the estimated total. Optional coverages and one-way fees are subject to tax in certain locations. This tax is not reflected in the Estimated Total.
Estimated total is subject to change based upon exchange rates at the time of rental.
At airport locations it is important to include your airline and flight number on the reservation so that the driver can meet your flight.

Mainland China does not recognize International driving licence. Only Chinese driver's license is accepted. If you do not have Chinese driver's license, you can only book chauffeur service. Payment in CNY only.
Please note all bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please note that the VAT in China on a driven service is 6%. For unscheduled early or late pick ups, an additional CNY 50 per trip will apply.
Can I smoke in the vehicle?
No, Avis China does not allow for smoking in their vehicles.
I've left the interior of the vehicle very dirty, will I be charged to clean it?
Yes, if the interior of the vehicle has been left in an unclean state and our standard cleaning procedure will not fix it, you will be charged a Specialist Cleaning Charge.
Roadside Assistance
What happens if the car I am in has a break down because of a mechanical failure?
Our drivers are trained to manage the breakdown and will call for another car and possibly driver to come and collect you to complete your journey. Time scales are dependant on your location but we will endeavour to get to you as quickly as we can.
Baby seats are available on request 48 hours in advance.
Baby seats is CNY100/day/set.
Cross border travel is prohibited.
