Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP) are Mandatory and are included in the rate.
Customers liability is reduced to an amount ranging from 500,000.00 AFR to 12,000,000,00 AFR, depending on the car group rented, for damage to and theft of all or part of the Avis vehicle.
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid driver's license in the driver's name from their country of residence. Customers presenting a driver's license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license.
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
At this location the minimum age to rent is 23 years for car groups A, B, C, D, E, K. The minimum age to rent is 25 years for car groups F, G, H, I, J, L.
At time of rental, an additional 7,000 AFR per day young driver fee will be applied for renters ages 23-24 years.
