AIRLINE PASSENGERS: Upon arriving at Haneda Airport, please contact us after you have retrieved your luggage. We will send a vehicle to pick you up. Please note that it may take 10-20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. SHUTTLE MEETING POINT AT EACH TERMINAL Customers arriving at Terminal 1: Please wait at Exit 8, North Wing, 2nd floor departure lobby. Customers arriving at Terminal 2: Please wait at Exit 6, 2nd floor departure lobby. Customers arriving at Terminal 3: Please wait near the roof end, just past the left side of the A exit on the 1st floor. AFTER HOURS RETURN: Not available.

Additional Driver Standard Policy

All additional drivers must meet the same minimum age & drivers license requirements as the renter. No charge for additional driver

Cash rentals are not allowed.


Optional Coverages

Collison Damage Waiver CDW

CDW reduces the renter's responsibility to - JPY100,000 to JPY150.000 (depending on car group) for damage to the car.

SCDW is available at local stores at JPY1,300/day or 2,300/day depending on car group (tax not included)

SCDW reduces the renter's responsibility to JPY 0 for damage to the car. However, SCDW does not cover Non Operation Charge.

What payment cards do you accept?

We accept: American Express, Diners Club International, JCB, MasterCard/Access/Eurocard and Visa credit cards.

 


Debit Card Policies

Debit cards are not accepted.


Drivers License

You will need your passport and International Driving Permit (IDP), recognized under the Geneva Convention. The IDP must have an expiry date of one year after issue. It will be valid in Japan one year after entering the country (immigration stamp). IDP recognized under the Paris Convention (1926), Washington Convention (1943), Vienna Convention (1968) are not permitted in Japan. IDP issued in Japan will not be accepted. If you hold a driving permit from Belgium, France, Germany, Monaco, Switzerland or Taiwan you may use your driving permit in Japan for one year after arrival, as long as you provide a Japanese translation of the permit. Please bring both documents and passport to our store. The original copy of the international driving permit is required at the rental counter. A digital or electronic copy, such as a PDF, is not accepted.
You may issue a Japanese translation at your embassy, consulate, or JAF(Japan Automobile Federation). If you hold a permit from Taiwan, you must issue a translation from JAF or the East Asia Relations Commission.


Public Liability and Property Damage

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

In Japan, we do not accept early/late return except during business hours as there is no drop box in all locations.
