Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Mandatory
CDW reduces liability to an amount between 520.00 EUR and 1,550.00 EUR depending on car group rented in the event of an accident, damage, or theft to the Avis vehicle.

Theft Protection (TP) is included in CDW 

Note:  If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Avis Gambia accepts Avis Charge Cards and Visa Card Only.

Debit cards are not accepted.

At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid driver's license in the driver's name from their country of residence.  Customers presenting a driver's license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

At this location the minimum age is 21 for car groups B (Economy) and C (Compact). Minimum age is 23 for car groups G, H (4X4 vehicles).  A Young Driver fee will apply to drivers under 25 years of age.  The Young Driver fee is 7.00 EUR per day per driver.
