Proceed to the Avis counter in the baggage claim area. Rental cars are parked outside the baggage claim area.
WALK-UP RENTERS
Follow airport signs for "Arrivals" or "Baggage Claim". They will lead to the baggage claim area entrance. Proceed inside to locate the Avis counter. Rental cars are parked outside the baggage claim area.
NOTE: Some locations may have a key drop available:
Drop Box Available: If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages or theft of the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day.
Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Customer is responsible for all charges related to the drop-off modification.
ABI Rental Car Return
Use a GPS, smartphone, or map and make your way to Abilene Regional Airport: our address is 2933 Airport Boulevard, Abilene, TX 79602. At the airport, follow the signage near the terminal to the car rental return area. There, you can park the car and check out at the desk inside the terminal.
