Where is Avis at the Lihue Kauai Airport?
AIRLINE PASSENGERS: Follow signs to the baggage claim area. Proceed directly across the street from the airline counters and board the Avis courtesy bus. The bus driver will take you to the rental counter.

Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Customer is responsible for all charges related to the drop-off modification.
LIH Rental Car Return
When you’re catching a flight out of Lihue, just return your Avis rental car to the LIH airport car rental office, in the same location as Avis rental pickup, at 3259 Hoolimalima Pl, Lihue, HI 96766. We’re open late, so you should find a friendly Avis representative to assist you. You can then catch the complimentary car rental bus to the Lihue Airport terminal.
