Where is Avis at the Reagan Airport?
If you have arrived at Terminal 2, please exit the doors on the baggage claim level, follow the purple signs for OFF-AIRPORT SHUTTLES/RENTAL CARS and proceed to our Avis shuttle bus pick up area across the street. A dedicated Avis-branded shuttle bus will transport you to our lot which is located off-airport to pick up your rental car. Please be sure not to board the airport shuttle bus.
Once you arrive in our lot, look for your name and zone on the Preferred reader board. You can go directly to your zone to select the vehicle of your choice. A customer service agent will be there to assist you. The shuttle meets all flights arriving during Avis hours of operation. The shuttle is not available for later flights or flights delayed after closing time.
All returns should proceed to 2600 Richmond Highway, Arlington VA 22202 and an Avis-branded shuttle bus will transport you back to the airport. Returns opens at 4:30 AM.

AFTER-HOURS RETURNS: The return lot is staffed starting at 4:30 AM for rental car returns. For this location, if returning a car to meet an early flight arriving between 4:30 AM and open regular business hours, it will be necessary to book the return time during regular business hours of operation. The car will be checked in at the actual time you return the car. The Avis-branded shuttle bus also operates early to take customers to the terminal. Cars are not allowed to be returned between closing time & 4:30 AM.
