After crossing the skywalk bridge to the U.S. side, proceed to the Avis counter in the Arrival Terminal. Show your driver's license to receive your preprinted rental document and keys. Rental cars are parked outside the Arrival Terminal.
WALK-UP RENTERS
Proceed inside the Arrival Terminal to the Avis rental counter. Show your drivers license and identify yourself as a Preferred Renter to the Avis rental agent in order to receive your preprinted rental document and keys. Rental cars are parked outside the Arrival Terminal.
AIRLINE PASSENGERS
After crossing the skywalk bridge to the U.S. side, proceed to the Avis counter in the Arrival Terminal. Rental cars are parked outside the Arrival Terminal.
WALK-UP RENTERS
The Cross Border Xpress terminal is located on Otay Pacific Dr which is south of Siempre Viva Rd between Brittania Blvd & La Media Rd. Proceed inside the Arrival Terminal to locate the Avis counter. Rental cars are parked outside the Arrival Terminal.
Lock the vehicle and place the keys in the key drop box for After Hours Returns located in the return area. Don't forget to remove all your belongings from the vehicle prior to returning the keys.
A vehicle that is returned after hours will be checked in when the location opens the next business day. If returning after hours when a location is closed, the customer is responsible for the vehicle until the satisfactory check in of the rental vehicle the next business day.
